35CrMnSiA alloy steel is a medium-carbon quenchedand tempered structural steel. It is based on the additionof Cr, Mn, Si, and other alloying elements to ordinarycarbon steel for further improvement of strength andtoughness. It is particularly suitable for use indeep-drawing applications due to its good propertiesof strength and plasticity.

The chemical composition of 35CrMnSiA alloy steel isdefined in the standard GB/T 11251, with a specificrole ratio of 0.32-0.40 for C, 0.90-1.20 for Si, 0.45-0.55for Mn, and 0.80-1.10 for Cr. Other elements includealuminum, copper and phosphorus, all withinprecisely controlled limits.

The mechanical properties of the 35CrMnSiA alloy steelare characterized by high strength, good toughness andplasticity, and good oxidation resistance. The yieldstrength of 35CrMnSiA plate is not less than 550N/mm2, and the tensile strength of rolled plates is not below620N/mm2. The elongation of 35CrMnSiA steel isnot less than 18%, and the impact energy is not lowerthan 25J.

The heat treatment process for manufacturing 35CrMnSiA alloy steel plate includes normalizing, quenching andtempering. After normalizing and tempering, the platescan be delivered in the state of hot rolling or colddrawing. In addition, the plates can also be subjectedto surface heat treatment to obtain various differentmicrostructures and mechanical properties to meet thedemands of customers.
