2.0 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for cold rolled low carbon steel sheets and strips for continuous hot dip galvanizing process.

For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions shall apply.
3.1.1 Carbon steel sheet and strip for continuous hot dip galvanizing
Cold rolled low carbon steel sheets and strips (hereinafter referred to as Cold Rolled Sheets and Strips) suitable for the continuous hot dip galvanizing process.
3.1.2 Steering anti-picking
A method of cold rolling in which oil is applied locally on certain areas of the surface of the steel to prevent cracking during cold rolling.
3.2 Abbreviations and acronyms
For the purpose of this standard, the following abbreviations and acronyms shall apply.

4.0 Requirements
4.1 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of cold rolled steel sheets and strips (mass fraction, %) shall conform to the requirements of Table 1.

Dimensional and edge surface texture test
The dimensional requirements and edge surface texture requirements of the cold rolled sheets and strips shall be in accordance with the requirements specified in Table 2

5.2 Mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of Cold Rolled Sheets and Strips shall meet the requirements specified in Table 3.

6.0 Product inspection
Products supplied in accordance with this standard shall, upon acceptance by the purchaser, be subject to full inspection. The inspection items and requirements shall be in accordance with Table 4.
