Chinese Welding Association
The Chinese Welding Association (CWA) is a national non-profit organization that was established in 1967. The CWA is dedicated to the promotion and application of welding technology and research in China. As a joint organization of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) and China Welding Society (CWS), the CWA works to enhance the quality, standard, and reliability of welding operations in China.
The CWA is responsible for developing guidelines, standards and technical publishing in the field of welding in China. It has also established educational programs in welding technology and education for personnel training, and works to promote scientific research related to welding both inside and outside China.
The CWA has various activities related to welding training and promotion including conferences, seminars and symposiums, and has organized a number of them for industrial personnel, professionals and other interested groups. In addition to its activities related to welding, the CWA also publishes two journals, one focusing on science and technology and the other on welding education, which provides an industry standard for technical articles related to welding.
The CWA is an active organization in supporting the development and advancement of welding in China. It works closely with the China Welding Society, American Welding Society, and other national and international welding organizations to share information and resources.
