Bohai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (BSC) is a leading shipbuilding company in the People’s Republic of China. Established in the late 1940s, BSC is located in the coastal city of Penglai, Shandong Province, and is a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of the Bohai Shipyard Group. BSC has direct and indirect experience in ship design, construction, repair and outfitting.
The main focus of BSC is in relieving the nation’s shortages of seagoing vessels and providing quality shipbuilding services. The company has access to the services and technology of the larger Bohai Shipyard Group, as well as sister companies in sectors such as marine engineering, electronics, machinery and naval architecture.
BSC’s experience in shipbuilding and marine engineering covers a wide range of vessels, including chemical tankers, non-chemical tankers, car carriers, diesel-powered container ships, chemical carriers, oil rigs and other large ocean-going vessels. BSC also specializes in providing re-fit, repair and maintenance services for vessels in the Gulf of Bohai and East China Sea.
