My Life
Life is a beautiful journey, full of different experiences. For me it started in a small town in Nebraska. I was born to a middle-class family, with two siblings. Even though we had a comfortable lifestyle, growing up wasn’t easy. I remember clamoring through my childhood with a zeal to learn and explore new things.
My curiosity was rewarded when I entered high school and found friends from different cultures and backgrounds. It was quite the eye opener for me. As the years passed, I decided to explore new places and join college away from Nebraska. That’s where I shifted my interest and passion towards the sciences.
The next five years of my life were spent in college, where I studied hard, made new friends, and traveled whenever I could. Even though I didn’t have enough money to do most of the leisure activities, I was always happy as I tried to soak in the best of any place.
After graduation, I moved to New York City with the sole intention of building a career in the science field. The most important lesson I learned here was to not give up on success even when the going gets tough. After posting my resume on the internet, I got a job offer from an IT firm. While in some ways this didn’t align with my passion for the sciences, I decided to take it as a way of gaining technical expertise.
The past three years of my life have been completely devoted to improving my career. I attended numerous workshops and seminars in the computer science field. Soon my dedication and experience helped me get promoted and I was the project manager for a software development firm.
Now, I am in my mid-twenties and this is the happiest period of my life. My career is flourishing, I don’t have any financial problems, and I have a beautiful circle of friends who support me in my every endeavor. Although, I must clarify that I am alone when it comes to marriage. But I don’t feel like it’s dragging me down. Instead, it only increases my enthusiasm to do better, enjoy life, and make more positive changes in the times to come.
