Common faults and causes of automation processing equipment

1. Fault Fault of Cylinder:

1.1 Abnormal sound: abnormal sound is caused by the abnormal operation of the movable parts inside the cylinder. The cause of abnormal sound is mainly due to the lack of lubrication, the looseness of connecting bolts or the wear and tear of parts, the rust of the cylinder body and cylinder piston or the exist of hard objects inthe oil circuit.

1.2 Positioning failure: This is often caused by the lack of oil in the cylinder, the improper air pressure setting, the damage of the mobile part of the cylinder or the too loose or too tight of the joint part, as well as the failure of the internal parts.

1.3 Leakage: The main cause of leakage is the aging failure of parts, the loosening of the seal and the crack of the cylinder body. Leakage can also be caused by the oil increase or a fault setting of the pressure.

2. Fault of Solenoid Valve:

2.1 Abnormal sound: This is caused by the poor contact connection, the damage of the inner parts and the aging of the seal.

2.2 Slow reaction: The main cause of slow reaction is the lack of electric power, the low air pressure, the aging of the coil and the interior parts, the lack of oil in the circuit and the inside foreign objects.

2.3 Oil leakage: This is due to the aging of the pressure compensation element, seal or internal valves, low pressure setting, gas impurities and too much pressure output.

3. Fault of Pressure:

3.1 Pressure failure: This is caused by cylinder malfunction, failure of pipeline connection and setting of inaccurate pressure.

3.2 Abnormal sound: This is usually caused by the damage of the inlet filter, the blockage of the inside filter, the air leakage or improper connection.

4. Fault of Hydraulic System:

4.1 Accumulator failure: The main cause of accumulator failure is that the gas purity contained in the accumulator is low, or the set pressure of the accumulator is too large.

4.2 Leakage: This is caused by the aging of oil seal, insufficient filling of oil, wear and tear of valve, accumulation of impurities and the insulation failure of electrical components.

5. Fault of Motor:

5.1 Abnormal sound: This is caused by the incorect installation, poor lubrication, improper use of overload motor, as well as bearing damage, internal fatigue etc.

5.2 Disconnection: This is usually caused by the overcurrent, the break of the wire, the damage of the wire, thermal expansion of the contact, the play of the terminal connection point, the increase of the load and the malfunction of various components.

6. Fault of Sensor:

6.1. Abnormal output: This is usually caused by the wrong position of the installation, the movement of internal parts, external noise etc.

6.2. No response: This is caused by short circuit or open circuit, or damage of routing control relays, as well as the grounds and other components.

All these are some of the most common faults found in the use of automated processing equipment.in order to prevent these faults from occurring, it is essential to maintain regular maintenance and management of the equipment, and to ensure a high quality operation and safety of operators.
