Introduction
GB 3620-83 is a Chinese national standard regarding chemical compositions for titanium and titanium alloys. It is important standard for a further understanding of the chemical compositions of titanium and titanium alloys in China. The standard was issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ) and the Standardization Administration of the Peoples Republic of China (SAC), and was firstly issued in 1983 and then revised in 2016.
Scope
GB 3620-83 applies to the specification and inspection of chemical composition of various types of titanium and titanium alloys. It specifies the grades, chemical compositions in mass fraction and the tolerance thereof, mechanical properties and test methods, etc.
