Alloy structural steel grades include: Q345, Q390, 45Mn2, 15Cr, 20Cr, 25Cr, 30Cr, 35Cr, 40Cr, 20CrMnTi, 20CrNiMo, 30CrMnSiA, 38CrMoA1, 42CrMoA、20CrNiMo2, 25Cr2Mo1VA and so on.

Q345:

It is widely used in construction, bridge and other fields because of its excellent performance. The equivalent of Q345 is ASTM A572. It is usually used in combination with A36.

Q390:

Q390 is hot-rolled steel strip with tensile strength of 1350-1550 MPa, with yield strength greater than 1250 MPa. The equivalent of Q390 is ASTM A572 Gr. 50. Widely used in bridge, ships, vehicle manufacturing and other fields.

45Mn2:

45Mn2 has medium strength and good plasticity, but low impact toughness. Deformation is sensitive to cold, cracking tendency is large. Due to the high content of manganese, good comprehensive performances, such as hardness and wear resistance, can be obtained. It is used in the manufacture of parts subjected to wear and friction.

15Cr:

15Cr has good high temperature performance, good tempering stability, high strength and hardness, good comprehensive performance, and can be hardened and strengthened by nitriding, but its strength and toughness decline. 15Cr can be used as steel for foundations and center plastic die.

20Cr:

20Cr has good strength, medium plasticity and high hardenability. It is used to manufacture various mechanical parts and its comprehensive mechanical properties are better than 15Cr. And it can respond to nitriding treatment and be used in the manufacture of some parts which require the surface to have wear resistance and fatigue strength at high temperature.

25Cr:

25Cr is a medium carbon and low alloy steel, and its quenched and tempered conditon has high strength and good hardenability. After nitriding treatment, it has good fatigue strength, wear resistance and corrosion resistance at high temperature, and can be used in the manufacture of parts of high temperature and corrosion resistance.

30Cr:

30Cr has low alloy content and medium carbon content, with good performance when quenching and tempering. After nitriding treatment, it has higher wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Generally used to manufacture engineering machinery, agricultural machinery and its components.

35Cr:

It has good mechanical properties with high strength and hardenability, as well as good hardenability, and can strengthen its hardenability when quenched and tempering. It can respond to nitriding treatment and can be used in the manufacture of parts with high wear resistance and good fatigue strength at high temperature.

40Cr:

40Cr is one of the most widely used steels in machinery manufacturing industry. It has good comprehensive mechanical properties, can be hardened and strengthened by nitriding and quenching, its wear resistance and fatigue strength are improved at high temperature, and its machinability is also good.

20CrMnTi:

20CrMnTi steel is a common low-alloy carburizing steel, which has strong hardenability, good comprehensive mechanical properties, good parallelism and small deformation during carburizing and quenching. It is used to make carburizing parts with high surface hardness, strength and wear resistance.

20CrNiMo:

20CrNiMo steel is a carburizing steel with high strength and high hardenability after quenching and tempering. It has high fatigue strength and strength at medium and high temperatures. It is mainly used to manufacture small and medium-sized gears and shafts for automobile, locomotive and tractors and other parts with medium load and impact load.

30CrMnSiA:

It is a low-alloy steel with good comprehensive performance, with high strength and good tempering stability. After quenching and tempering, it has high fatigue strength and medium and high temperature strength, and it can respond to nitriding and be used to manufacture parts with high surface hardness and wear resistance.

38CrMoA1:

It is one of the most commonly used quenching and tempering steels. It has high strength and toughness, good hardenability and excellent machinability, but its quenching deformation is large, so appropriate quenching and tempering process should be adopted. It is mainly used to manufacture components with high load and medium speed.

42CrMoA:

It is one of the most popular quenching and tempering steels, with good strength and toughness, good hardenability and excellent machinability. It has good thermal strength and medium and high temperature strength, and it can respond to nitriding treatment and be used to manufacture parts with high surface hardness and wear resistance.

20CrNiMo2:

It is a carburizing steel which has high strength and can be used for the production of some parts with large load, such as gears and shafts for automobiles, locomotives and tractors, which require good wear resistance and fatigue strength at high temperature.

25Cr2MoVA:

It has good hardenability and tempering stability, with high strength and medium and high temperature strength after quenching and tempering. It has good processing performance and wear resistance, and can be used in the manufacture of bearing parts with high wear resistance and toughness, such as heavy-duty gear and gear shaft.
