In 2011, Austeel United became a joint venture partner with the Chinese steelmaker Baosteel. The agreement gave Austeel United access to the Chinese steel market and the ability to use Baosteel’s advanced production facilities. Baosteel is one of the largest and most advanced steel manufacturers in China and has forged a long-term strategic relationship with Austeel United.
