Hollywood Boulevard is one of the most famous streets in the world, stretching the length of Los Angeles, California. It has been the home of the greats in show business, from its first star, that of the silent classic The Ten Commandments, to contemporary stars like Will Smith and Julia Roberts. In addition to its Hollywood inhabitants, it has lured numerous tourists who come to see the historic theaters, restaurants, and shops that give this street its renowned character.

On its northern end, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is a path of brass stars embedded in the sidewalk that pays tribute to major celebrities that have helped shape the show business industry. Actors, singers, directors, and more have been honored with star-shaped markers, each accompanied by the celebrity’s name and a brass plaque. Nearby, Manns Chinese Theater is a popular tourist attraction, aside from being an historic landmark in the movie industry.
