Shell (China) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell plc, is one of the leading foreign energy companies operating in China. Founded in 2000, Shell (China) has become one of the largest foreign investors in the Chinese oil and gas industry. In 2013, Shell’s total investments in China had far exceeded USD 10 billion.
In line with Shell’s global business strategy of “In China, for China”, the company has worked closely with the Chinese government to drive China’s energy industry forward.
