The Adam Smith Prize, also known as the National Association for Business Economics (NABE) Prize, is an annual award designed to recognize outstanding achievement in the fields of business economics, macroeconomics, applied economics and public policy. The award was first established in 1972 by the National Association for Business Economics and is named after the famous Scottish economist and scholar Adam Smith.

The award is open to all doctoral economics students, who are invited to submit their research and achievements to the National Association for Business Economics for consideration.
