Abstract
Due to the rapid development of steel industry for many years, the traditional steelmaking technology has been unable to meet the needs of the society and development. If a clean production technology is used, emissions from the steelmaking process can be greatly reduced. A novel clean steelmaking technology, furnace negative energy steel production process, could be used to reduce energy consumption and improve production efficiency. It is an effective way to reduce energy consumption, reduce pollutant emissions and improve the environmental performance of the steel industry.
