Shanghai Yifeng Park Silicon Steel Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by Shougang Co., Ltd., Shanghai Baoshan Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Xian Dai Investment Co., Ltd. in June 1999. The company is located in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone, south of Waigaoqiao, the largest port in China. With total investment of US$56 million, the company covers an area of 300 acres, with buildings of over 60,000 sq. meters.
Shanghai Yifeng Park Silicon Steel Co., Ltd. mainly produces grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel (CRGO) and non-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel (CRNGO) as thin as 0.2 mm, with an annual capacity of 100,000 tons. The production line is composed of 4-hd hi-portion pickling lines, 5 fourteen-pallet continuous annealing furnaces, a vibration leveler, 2 X-ray thin-plate shearing lines, a 2200 mm five-stand tandem mill and other advanced equipment for inspecting and analyzing.
With its excellent production quality, Shanghai Yifeng Park Silicon Steel Co., Ltd. has become one of the preferred suppliers for many large corporations and well-known domestic and foreign companies. Its products have been exported to more than 10 countries and regions, with over 70 percent of total sales volume sent overseas.
