China Textile Industry Association (CTIA)
The China Textile Industry Association (CTIA) is a nationwide non-profit organization with the mission to promote and develop the Chinese textile industry. Since its founding in 1978, CTIA has played an important role in the growth and development of Chinas textile industry.
The main objectives of the Association are: to promote the development of the Chinese textile industry; to protect the rights and interests of the members of the Association; to formulate statistics, standards, guidelines and regulations for the textile industry; to participate in the promulgation of laws and regulations for the textile industry; to provide professional services for textile businesses; to cooperate with other organizations in China and abroad in promoting economic and technological exchange; and to provide guidance and assistance in manufacturing and exporting textile products.
The CTIA is composed of several organizations including Division of Technical Services, Department of Policy Studies, Division of Trade Promotion, Department of Human Resources, Division of Education and Training, Department of Trade and Industry, Division of International Affairs and other various members. The CTIA is also member of the China National Textile Association (CNTA).
The CTIA provides a suite of services to members to help them succeed in the textile industry including providing professional business advice and guidance, training programs and courses, media campaigns, and other support in areas such as product design, product development, marketing and promotion, as well as quality control and sales.
The CTIA also provides assistance in manufacturing and exporting activities in the area of communication, services and partnerships. This includes providing China textile industry statistics, offering access to potential business partners, promoting China textile products and services, and other informative information related to the Chinese textile industry.
The CTIA also organizes various exhibitions, conferences and seminars which serve to facilitate professional exchanges and provide industry networking opportunities for its members. Through these events, the CTIA regularly disseminates intelligence information, allowing members to make timely decisions on product development and other business moves.
The CTIA also plays an important role in developing legislation and regulations in the textile industry. All internal Codes of Conduct and External standards promulgated by the CTIA are intended to ensure that members rights, liberties and interests are taken into consideration.
