Cangzhou Petrochemical Refinery
Located in the heart of Hebei Province in North China, Cangzhou Petrochemical Refinery (CPR) is a joint venture of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) and Cangzhou Municipal Government. The refinery was established in 1978 and today produces a broad range of oil products, including crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, asphalt and bitumen.
Located on the Haihe River in Cangzhou, the refinery consists of two production sites, a refinery and a fractionation plant, where crude oil is broken down into various fractions. The refinery has an annual capacity to process 1 million tons of crude oil, while the fractionation unit can process 1.5 million tons.
To meet tight emissions and safety standards, Cangzhou Petrochemical Refinery has implemented a range of advanced operating, monitoring and control systems. The refinery works with a wide range of technologies and processes to meet production, energy and energy efficiency goals.
