EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT

This Employment Contract (Contract) is entered into this 28th day of April, 2020 by and between John Smith (Employer) and Jane Doe (Employee).

WHEREAS, Employer desires to employ Employee, and Employee desires to be employed, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth;

NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the mutual covenants and agreements hereinafter set forth and for other good and valuable consideration, the parties, intending to be legally bound, agree as follows:

1. Employment. Employer hereby agrees to employ Employee and Employee hereby agrees to accept and be employed by Employer, upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth.

2. Terms of Employment.

a. Employees term of employment shall be for a period of twelve (12) months.

b. Employee shall work exclusively for Employer, and shall not, during the term of this Contract, provide any services for any other organization or person, without the prior written consent of Employer.

c. Employee shall provide services to the Employer from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday - Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Fridays, unless otherwise specified by the Employer.

d. No part-time work will be permitted, at any time.

e. Employees responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, assisting in the preparation of reports, communicating with outside vendors and clients, assisting in the management of the Employers operations, and providing overall administrative support.

f. Employee shall be expected to maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times and adhere to the highest standards of ethical behavior.

g. Employee understands and acknowledges that their employment is at will, and can be terminated by either party at any time for any reason, with or without cause.

3. Compensation and Benefits.

a. Employee shall be compensated at the rate of $20 per hour.

b. Employee will be eligible for medical and dental benefits as provided to all other permanent full-time employees.

c. Employer will provide Employee with the necessary equipment and supplies required to perform his/her duties, including but not limited to a laptop computer and cell phone.

4. Expenses. Employer agrees to reimburse Employee for all reasonable and necessary expenses incurred in the course of performing duties related to this Contract, subject to receipt of adequate documentation.

5. Confidentiality. Employee agrees not to disclose any confidential information concerning the Employer or any of its clients, suppliers or other business associates.

6. Non-Solicitation. Employee agrees not to solicit, recruit or hire any of the Employees current customers or employees.

7. Governing Law. This Contract shall be deemed to have been made and entered into in the State of California, and any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved according to the laws of the State of California.

This document serves to formalize the employment relationship between XYZ Company and employee John Doe, which is effective as of May 15th.

John Doe is employed by XYZ Company, located at 123 Main Street, Los Angeles, CA, in the role of Technical Consultant. In this role, John will be primarily responsible to provide technical support and develop new software solutions.

John Doe will be compensated at a rate of $75/hour. He will also be entitled to one week of paid vacation and two weeks of sick leave per year.

John Doe shall be subject to the terms and conditions of this Contract, as well as of XYZ Companys policies and procedures.

John Doe will maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary information obtained through his employment in the company.

John Doe and XYZ Company agree that Johns employment may be terminated with or without cause at the discretion of either party. In either case, John Doe shall receive four weeks of severance pay if his employment is terminated for any reason other than misconduct.

By agreeing to this document, John Doe and XYZ Company both acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to all the terms stated herein.
