Steel Ingots
Steel ingots are one of the most common products in the steel industry, and they are found in virtually every steel mill. Steel ingots are made from a variety of different metals and alloys, and are used in many different applications. They are also produced by pouring molten metal into a molds, however, the molds are round or square-shaped, and the blooms are much larger than slabs. Blooms are typically used to manufacture structural steel products such as I-beams, H-beams and other structural shaped steel products.
Steel ingots are an important asset in any steel mill, and they are typically sold in large quantities to wholesalers and manufacturers who then use them to produce their products. Steel ingots are typically sold based on their weight, which is typically measured in tons.
