The primary requirement for operating a CNC Lathe is the correct training and certification. This needs to be completed by an experienced operator, who has an in-depth understanding of the machine and the way it works. Furthermore, the operator should have knowledge in programming the machine and the ability to accurately identify the various components and controls of the CNC Lathe.

The second requirement is the proper selection of tooling. Depending on the application, various tooling is required to ensure that the CNC Lathe can work to its fullest potential. Specialized tools and fixtures can increase the accuracy and precision of the machining process. The right tooling also allows for more variety in terms of the components that can be produced.
