The maximum working temperature of GBn168-82 aluminum alloy plate is 160 degrees Celsius. When the temperature is higher than 160 degrees Celsius, the alloy structure can be destroyed, resulting in lower wear resistance and strength. The hardness of GBn168-82 aluminum alloy plate is dependant on tempering, but the plate does not require heat-treatment for strengthening so the plate may contain re-crystallized grains.
GBn 168-82 aluminum alloy plate contains various alloy elements such as manganese, zinc, magnesium, copper, etc., and is added with appropriate stabilizers such as Sr, Cu, and Mg, so that the casting structure becomes fine and uniform spheroidization, and hydrogen solid solution is scattered in the alloy structure, forming a reinforcing effect against high temperature creep.
The chemical composition of GBn 168-82 aluminum alloy plate is mainly composed of ferromagnetic metals such as aluminum, iron, manganese, silicon, and a small amount of zinc, magnesium, copper, etc. The main impurities are chromium and titanium with a maximum content of 0.1%. This alloy has excellent oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
