Reversing two-stage Short Stress Line Rolling Mill
Introduction
Reversing two-stage short stress line rolling mill a kind of advanced technology in steel rolling production line. It is developed on the basis of old double stand rolling mill. By optimizing the design of rolling mill components, the integrated technology with short stress line stands in one has been realized. This is an important technology for increasing the productivity, yield and property of steel products, reducing the force and energy consumption, and enhancing the production process flexibility.
Structure Principle
The reversing two-stage short stress line rolling mill consists of two independent systems, namely the unidirectional system and the reversing system. The roll of the unidirectional system is driven by one motor, with one driving roll and another idle roll. In this system, the steel billets enter from one side and leave from the other side. In the reversing system, two motors drive a pair of rolls, the steel billets entering from one end and the leave from the other end.
The reversing two-stage short stress line rolling mill can be used to process billets of various sizes. The magnetic stator mechanism is used for adjusting the rolling tension in the two systems.
Working Principle
The reversing two-stage short stress line rolling mill is driven by two motors. The unidirectional system can achieve 8-10 m/min, and the reversing system can reach 20-30 m/min. In the initial stage of rolling, the pressure is low and the billet is rolled in the unidirectional system. When the pressure increases, the billet is transferred to the reversing system, in order to prevent the billet from over-producing.
When the billet is transferred to the reversing system, the riser of the billet is broke by the two motors. The two rolls press the billet in opposite directions to ensure continuous rolling. The rolling scale and width of the billet can be adjusted by controlling the distance between the two rolls.
Advantages
The reversing two-stage short stress line rolling mill has a number of advantages. First, it can achieve a higher quality of steel products with a higher surface roughness and a better energy consumption. Second, it can reduce the force consumption and rolling time of the billet. Third, it has a wide range of raw material types and sizes available for rolling. Fourth, it is able to achieve faster rolling speeds and higher productivity. Fifth, it can achieve high quality of rolling even with lower temperatures. Finally, it has a shorter roll life.
Conclusion
The reversing two-stage short stress rolling mill is an advanced steel rolling technology. It has several advantages such as higher quality products, efficient rolling process, wide range of available raw materials, and longer roll life. This technology is suitable for the production of various kinds of steel products.
