China Metallurgical Wuhan Steel Universal Rolling Steel Plant (CWSR) is a world-class steel plant producing hot-rolled and cold-rolled galvanized steel products for the automotive, construction and home appliance industries. CWSR is the only plant in China capable of producing hot and cold-rolled galvanized steel with a thickness of up to 8mm and a width of up to 3,000 mm. The plant also features a cold rolling line for the production of cold rolled sheets, strips, coils, and plates with a range of thicknesses from 0.5mm to 3.00 mm. The cold rolling processes involve using a series of rollers to reduce the thickness and improve the surface quality of the steel. The cold rolling line is equipped with micro-tension levelers, on-line surface inspection equipment and a micro-spray line with advanced cooling systems to ensure quality products.
In order to produce high-quality steel products and maintain consistent production standards, the plant has also implemented strict environmental control measures and safety systems. The plant has established a waste discharge permit system, ventilation and dust collection systems, and various accident prevention systems to ensure the safety of its workers.
