China United Engineering Corporation (Group) (hereafter referred to as China United Engineering Corporation Group) is a large-scale state-owned enterprise group directly under the State Council, established in December 7, 1991, with a registered capital of RMB 28.678 billion yuan. It is mainly engaged in international project contracting (engineering, procurement and construction) business, investment and financing, and domestic project contracting, equipment manufacturing, real estate development and so on.
The scope of its business cover large-scale infrastructure projects and comprehensive services for civil engineering, such as buildings, electric power, bridges, roads, railways and tunnels, etc.; industrial projects, such as petrochemical, chemical, metallurgy and preservation projects, etc.; large-scale mechanical and electrical products manufacturing and sales; real estate development and sales; municipal engineering projects, such as water supply and drainage, urban rail transport, new energy utilization and other public works, etc.; and investments, capital operation and other supporting services, etc.
Until now, China United Engineering Corporation Group has established 27 subsidiaries and 1 holding company, 4 listed companies, 8 joint ventures and 1 research institute. It is a large-scale and strong group with strong capital strength and a wide range of businesses. In 2019, the total assets of the Group reached 225.45 billion yuan, total income of 187.55 billion yuan and total profits of 12.82 billion yuan.
In terms of international engineering contracting business, China United Engineering Corporation Group has branches and offices in more than 30 countries and regions all over the world, and has constructed a number of engineering projects including highways, bridges, tunnels and buildings in foreign countries.
