It is featured in high processing accuracy, especially for burrs and clean depths; excellent surface quality; easy and fast cutting starts; strong adaptability of hole depths, hole diameters and workpiece materials; low cost of single piece; and convenient programming and operation.

The working principle of the electric spark micro hole machine tool is to ignite an electric arc by the spark gap of the alternating current high voltage electricity, to heat and vaporize the metal material of the high temperature point through the heat concentration effect along the arc to excavate the small micron holes.

The electric spark micro hole machine is composed of cutting power supply, pressurization station, cooling system, deionized water tank and computer control system. On the basis of the normal electric spark micro hole machine, advanced functions such as small hole piercing and depth control, which correspond to ultra-precision machining, have been added.

The power supply of electric spark micro hole machines generally use DC high voltage power supply.
