Zhejiang Province Non-Ferrous Metals Geology Survey is one of the key research and development projects of Zhejiang Geological Prospecting Bureau, which are mainly engaged in geological exploration and development of non-ferrous metals in Zhejiang Province. The geological survey covers a wide range of activities, including comprehensive geological survey, mineral resources assessment, development and utilization, eco-environment assessment and protection, dynamize geological hazards, geological data collection and management, etc.
The geological survey of Zhejiang Province Non-Ferrous Metals is based on a systematic exploration and evaluation of all available field data, laboratories results and computer modeling. This is done to determine the potential of non-ferrous metals deposits and prospects in Zhejiang Province. The geological survey involves a host of field activities, such as stratigraphy, geo-morphology, structure, petrography, geochemical techniques and geophysical surveying.
The data gathered and analyzed during the geological survey will be used to generate a series of geological maps, zonation maps, deposit models, resource maps and other related products, which will provide economic support for the development of non-ferrous metals mining in Zhejiang Province.
