Universal Happiness Theory
The concept of universal happiness is a relatively new one, and is still being explored today. This idea proposes that a persons happiness is based on a combination of internal states of being, such as focusing on personal strengths, reflecting on past experiences, and setting realistic expectations; and external factors, such as environment, relationships, and occupation. The theory goes beyond the traditional notion of happiness being based solely on acquiring external rewards, to also recognize the psychological and social benefits of personal wellbeing.
The premise of universal happiness is that all people can be truly content and fulfilled in life; including those who experience illness, poverty, or lack of opportunities. By assessing ones unique needs and desires, it is possible to cultivate personal satisfaction and satisfaction even in the midst of challenging circumstances or life events. This is essentially a philosophy of personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on developing inner strengths and resources in order to form healthier and more meaningful life experiences.

The key to achieving universal happiness is to identify and explore personal weaknesses and strengths in order to identify areas of improvement. The goal is to create a state of balance and acceptance of oneself, as well as of ones circumstances. The idea is to learn to face life, its trials and its frustrations, with confidence and hope, while engaging in activities that promote personal growth, inner growth, and personal fulfillment.
Although ubiquitous, universal happiness is still a new and emerging field of study, and it is important to recognize that it takes time to cultivate and nurture this state of being. As with any new concept, it is important to approach it with an open mind and to consider it a personal journey. Although there are many theories and approaches, the ultimate focus is on understanding oneself and creating ones own paths to and through happiness. There is no one-size-fits-all solution, and each individual must ultimately decide how and what to pursue in order to achieve true and lasting happiness.
