Pile Foundation Displacement Treatment
Pile foundation displacement treatment refers to the application of external forces such as prestressing, jacking and injecting to the pile foundation to eliminate its potential displacement or reduce its displacement within the allowable range. The purpose is to restore the foundation to its original state and ensure the stability of the structure.
The displacement of the pile foundation may be caused by external factors such as land subsidence or decrease of axial load on the pile, and internal factors such as excessive deformation of the pile itself under certain conditions.
There are mainly three types of pile foundation displacement correction methods: prestressing, jacking and injecting.
Prestressing is to use prestressing force to control the failure of pile foundation by increasing its rigidity. The types of prestressing force include static prestressing, dynamic prestressing and deep dynamic prestressing. This method is mainly used to increase the axial bearing capacity of the pile foundation, reduce the displacement and maintain the stability of the structure.
The jacking method is to apply external force to the pile foundation through jacks to oppose the displacement of the pile foundation and control the displacement within the allowable range. The jacking force is usually generated by hydraulic jacks and driven by hydraulic oil. Hydraulic jacking pipes are set at the end of the pile and the annular space is filled with reinforced concrete as an external force force for oil pressure jacking.
Injection is to inject mortar into the gap around the pile to improve the composition state of the surrounding soil and reduce or eliminate the displacement of the pile foundation. Injection can be divided into dry injection and wet injection. Dry injection is mainly suitable for fishing construction and is beneficial to the consolidation of weak soil. On the other hand, wet injection is basically used to inject water and soil into the gap between the piles, so as to repair and stabilize the settlement of the piles.
In summary, the displacement treatment of pile foundation can be diversified, which can be applied according to the displacement of the original state of the pile foundation and the application conditions. It is suitable for the stability and maintenance of soil, rocks and other materials, as well as for the repair, consolidation and reinforcement of soft foundation layer.
