Rolling Bearing Terminology in English and Chinese (vi)
1. 紧定胀瓣 Tightening Bolts
Also known as tension bolts, they are used to securely fasten two adjacent components by inserting them into the aligned bolt holes and then tightened to increase their combined tensile strength.
2. 盖型圈 Caps
Caps are circled mounting plates of a rolling bearing which stop the rotating parts of the bearing from coming into contact with external debris and damages. The caps are made of insulation material to help reduce abrasion and wear.
3. 滚针 Rolling Pins
Rolling pins are mainly used for fitting outer rings to the inner ring of a bearing. After the inner and outer rings are strongly charged, the rolling pins are then placed in between them, allowing them to rotate easily.
4. 内外圈 Inner and Outer Rings
The inner and outer rings are two principal components of a rolling bearing. They are usually made out of hard materials such as steel or metal, for maximum wear resistance, and facilitate smooth and precise movement of the bearing parts.
5. 圆柱锥滚子 Cylindrical Cone Roller
The cylindrical cone roller is a rolling element that consists of a cylindrical body with tapered ends. It helps to provide precise and smooth rotation to the bearing parts and allows accurate rolling without any wear or tear.
6. 齿轮 Gear
Gears are a toothed wheel which transmits torque and power between two or more rotating shafts. Gears are generally used to optimize the effective usage of the rotating components of a bearing, helping to increase its productivity.
7. 球面轴承 Spherical Bearing
Spherical bearings are rolling bearings that join two surfaces with a spherical bearing point. These bearings can be used in a variety of applications, from low-load applications to extremely high-load applications. They are highly reliable and have a long service life.
8. 滚道 Tracks
Rolling tracks or channels are pathways or grooves formed in materials such as steel or metal, that allow rolling elements and components to move through them with precision. They are an essential part of a rolling bearing and provide smooth and quiet operation.
9. 球轴承 Ball Bearing
Ball bearings are the most commonly used type of rolling elements and consist of two metal rings joined together by a set number of steel balls. The two metal rings in the ball bearing are separated by the balls and help to rotate the parts of the bearing.
10. 内圈非对称角 Inner Ring Non-Symmetrical Angle
An inner ring non-symmetrical angle is an angle formed by the inner ring of a bearing that is not symmetrical. It is designed in such a way to help provide a smoother and quieter operation as compared to other types of bearings.
