China Petroleum Dushanzi Petrochemical Company is a subsidiary of China Petroleum Corporation, established in 1983 and located in Xinjiang, northwestern China. It is the largest petrochemical base of China, as it is the only crude oil field in Xinjiang, and the only large-scale petrochemical company in the region.
Dushanzi Petrochemical Company has always been a leader in China’s petrochemical industry, ranked first by number of products, first by production capacity, and second by production scale. Its products mainly include ethylene and propylene, for which it holds a national monopoly. It is also a process leader in reforming products, synthetic resins, synthetic rubber, and primary organic chemicals.
