For a long time, the electric arc furnace has been widely used in the steelmaking industry to produce molten iron with higher efficiency and lower energy consumption. Although the electric arc furnace is an important equipment for smelting, there are still many shortcomings in the current smelting process, such as the large amount of slag generated by the smelting process and the low tuyere efficiency. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of molten iron and reduce the energy consumption, how to improve the tuyere efficiency and smelting efficiency is essentially the focus of current research.

Given this, the use of oxygen lance to increase the thermal delivery efficiency of electric arc furnace is studied in this paper. The specific research content is as follows: First, the multi-function of the oxygen lance is briefly introduced, and then the study of the oxygen lance cluster in the electric arc furnace is described in detail, mainly including the research of oxygen supply mode and the study of energy-saving effect of oxygen lance cluster oxygen supply. The oxygen and control signal sent to each lance are independently isolated to ensure the normal oxygen supply of the lance and avoid the interference of the working environment.

The main oxygen lances of the oxygen lance cluster supply oxygen to the center part of the electric arc furnace under the control of the computer-controlled valve, whereas the adjustment lances are set on the both sides of the main lances. The oxygen supply of the adjustment lance is adjusted by adjusting the oxygen supply valve, so that the oxygen flow of each lance is the same, thus making the oxygen supply of the electric arc furnace more uniform.
