However, often times the heat storage capacity of these stoves may not meet the required thermal load of the entire building and, consequently, the temperature of the building may not be maintained at a uniform level. This paper will discuss the various ways in which the heat storage capacity of a heat storage stove can be improved.

The first step in improving the heat storage capacity of a heat storage stove is to optimize the design of the stove’s fire chamber. This can be accomplished by selecting a suitable type and size of fuel, as well as optimizing the configuration and size of the fire chamber.
