The Asian-Pacific Accountants Association (APAA) is a global non-profit organization established to represent and strengthen the accountancy profession in the Asian-Pacific region. APAA is committed to improving the quality of professional services, enhancing the professionalism of its members and promoting public confidence in the accountancy profession around the world.
APAA is the largest accounting association in the region, representing over 500,000 members in 52 countries and territories. Our membership includes accounting professionals, auditors, educators and students. Through our membership we are able to exchange knowledge and experience, network, share best practices and develop new standards and regulations.
The association provides its members with a variety of activities and services such as conferences, seminars and workshops. We also encourage research and advocacy activities and provide technical guidance on accountancy issues. The association also provides a platform for our members to interact with other professionals and engage in professional development programs.
One of the key objectives of the APAA is to represent and work towards advancing the interests of its members. We actively work with other accounting bodies and organizations in the region such as the International Federation of Accountants, the Asian-Pacific Institute of Financial executives, the Financial Accounting Standard Board, and the Hong Kong Institute of CPAs to develop and strengthen the accountancy profession.
Through our activities and programs, we strive to promote good corporate governance and ethical standards. We are committed to increasing the understanding of accountancy and promoting the development of the profession in the region.
Our long-term goal is to work together to develop a region-wide network of leading organizations dedicated to promoting professional accountancy and governance. We also hope to establish a network of members who can share best practices and develop global standards in the profession.

Through our conferences, seminars and workshops we are transforming the profession in the region by educating and equipping our members with the latest and best practices and knowledge.
