Engine, Transmission and Bearing Oils
Engine and transmission oils are essential for the healthy running of any motor. They keep components lubricated and functioning, ensure lower running temperatures and reduce wear and tear on parts and systems.
Motor oils are a combination of lubricants and additives designed to reduce wear and tear, reduce friction and protect from corrosion from moisture. Generally, motor oils are divided into two groups. Group I oils are mineral oils, while Group II oils are synthetic oils made by refining base stocks.
Synthetic oils offer superior performance than conventional mineral oils. They have better thermal stability and oxidation resistance, can withstand and provide improved protection in extremes of heat and cold, and offer improved engine protection against deposits and rust. Highly advanced synthetic oils, such as synthetic high performance racing oils and synthetic multi-grade oils, are now available.
Transmission oils are designed to lubricate the components of a transmission system, reducing friction and wear. They include both automatic and manual transmission fluids, as well as transfer case and differential oils. The two main types of transmission oil are mineral (Group I oils) and synthetic (Group II oils).
Synthetic transmission oils are designed to protect internal components from wear and tear, keep the transmission running smoothly, and ensure lower fuel consumption. They are highly resistant to oxidation and thermal breakdown, as well as temperature extremes, ensuring superior performance in all driving conditions.
Bearing oils are designed to lubricate and cool bearings and other moving parts in industrial applications. They are formulated to reduce friction and wear, increase bearing life and extend equipment life. Bearing oils come in three main types: mineral (Group I oils), semi-synthetic (Group II oils) and full synthetic (Group III oils).
Full synthetic bearing oils are the most advanced type of bearing oil, offering superior performance and protection. They are highly resistant to oxidation, have a long service life, and provide excellent protection against corrosion, rust and deposits.
Engine, transmission and bearing oils are essential for keeping motors and other industrial applications running smoothly and efficiently. They provide superior protection, reduce friction and wear and tear, and ensure optimal performance in all conditions.
