Abraham Dimock: Revolutionary Hero of the Southern Frontier
Abraham Dimock was one of the early heroes of the expanding American nation. He was born in 1750 to the family of a traditional Native American Ranger in the Appalachian foothills of the Southeast. His father’s career in the military, traveling the wilderness to protect the American colonies from malicious French raiders, led to Abraham becoming a true pioneer of American society.
