12Cr1MoV Heat-resistant Steel Rod
12Cr1MoV heat-resistant steel is a kind of steel that can be used under high temperature conditions of 650℃-850℃. It has a minimum tensile strength of 660 MPa and a yield strength of 415 MPa. This steel has good oxidation and corrosion resistance in both air and molten metal. It has high welding performance, and its weldability is equivalent to that of common low-alloy steel. This steel is often used to manufacture parts and components that require a certain temperature. It is used in the petrochemical industry, food industry, and mechanical accessories such as bolts, nuts, and screws.
The main components of 12Cr1MoV steel are 12Cr-1Mo-V alloying elements. The 12Cr steel combines good wear resistance at 300℃ and 550℃ with excellent toughness. 1Mo increases high-temperature mechanical properties and creep resistance. V increases the hardness and wear resistance of the steel and its corrosion resistance to molten metal. With the addition of these alloying elements, the properties of the steel alloy are greatly enhanced, making it more suitable for manufacturing components operating in high-temperature environments.
The 12Cr1MoV steel rod has a higher temperature strength, low-temperature toughness, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, and long-term thermal strength than traditional low-alloy steels. With the combination of the alloying elements, the steel bar has good mechanical properties, high temperature strength and wear resistance, and can be used in a wider temperature range. The steel bar has very low sulfur and phosphorus content, making it a clean and environmentally friendly steel. The surface of the steel bar is smooth and free from defects such as color changes and pores.
Due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, 12Cr1MoV steel rods are widely used in power plants and boiler plants, superheaters and reheaters of steam pipelines and high-pressure steam pipes. It is also used to manufacture parts and components for petrochemical equipment and valves. In addition, due to its excellent metallurgical properties, it is widely used for manufacturing bolts, nuts, and screws for various mechanical accessories and household appliances.
12Cr1MoV steel rods can be processed into terminals, nuts, bolts, gears, blanks, welding plates and other products with high added value, and also can be used for as raw material for deep processing products. 12Cr1MoV steel rods are widely used in mechanical, electrical and other industries. 12Cr1MoV steel rod has a long service life and can be used under very harsh working conditions. Therefore, compared with the traditional structural steel, 12Cr1MoV heat-resistant steel rod has a higher cost performance.
