Technical Parameters of Heavy-duty Mechanical Automatic Closed-type Four-point Press
1 Structural characteristics
This press is mainly composed of machine frame, slider and transmission mechanism. The machine frame is made of high-quality casting. The four-point closed structure at the top of the machine frame is connected with the slider. The slide carries out rectilinear movement under the catalytic action of the transmission mechanism.
The transmission mechanism mainly consists of a motor, a gear box, an eccentric link mechanism, and an emerging energy transmission mechanism.
The motor is mounted on the upper part of the machine frame, and drives the gears and bearings in the gearbox to rotate. The gear box is an important part to realize the uniform motion of the slider. The gearbox is driven by the motor and connected with the eccentric shaft. The cross-axis eccentric link mechanism is connected to transmission shaft by double-row bearings. The connecting rod is connected with the up and down movement of the slider.
The emerging energy transmission mechanism includes a pressing head, a top guide, a connecting rod, and a spring to realize the uniform press-in force and uniform pressurization.

3 Safety protection
The press has a strong safety protection system, which is mainly composed of a pressure switch, a photoelectric switch, a pressure gauge, and a disconnect switch. The pressure switch is set at the work station, which can detect the pressure change in real time. When the pressure change is greater than the set value, the pressure switch will send a signal and the system will automatically shut down to ensure the safety of use. The photoelectric switch is installed at the feed port, which can control the material entering the working station, prevent mechanical overload and protect the slider. The pressure gauge is used to measure the pressure of the press, helping the operator to adjust the pressure appropriately. The disconnect switch is installed on the control panel to turn off the power supply in case of an emergency.
4 Electrical control system
Meeting the requirements of automation and intelligence, the press adopts the electrical control system. The system selects PLC (programmable logic controller) as the core control element, and the microcomputer is used as the monitoring and controlling system. The touch panel provides a friendly man-machine interface, allowing operators to make parameter settings conveniently. It also has an alarm system, which real-time monitoring the pressure and temperature deviation. Once abnormal data is detected, alarm will be generated in time, to ensure the operation is safe and reliable.
5 Troubleshooting
If the electro-hydraulic press breaks down, the operator should shut down the power supply, carefully check and make sure the cause of fault, then call professional technicians for repairs. Do not disassemble electric, gas and hydraulic parts by yourself, since it will easily cause more serious faults.
The press is a widely used mechanical equipment, so the need for its maintenance is very important,Regular check and maintenance will ensure its normal operation and reduce the failure rate of the equipment, and also extending its service life. Pre-work safety checks should be performed before use, and operators should pay attention to the working condition. When the pressure and temperature exceed the normal value, the operator should take appropriate measures, such as turning off the power supply and confirming the cause of the fault.
