Chongqing Institute of Instrumentation Materials
At the Chongqing Institute of Instrumentation Materials (CIM), our mission is to advance the science and technology of instrumentation materials with an emphasis on novel materials and applications, as well as instrumentation based on novel materials and emerging materials technologies.
CIM is committed to the support and development of novel materials and their associated technologies, such as lighting, sensors, measurement and control, cryogenic, and materials characterization and analysis. Our research and development goals range from the development of new materials with unique properties and and the design of sensors and instrumentation based on these materials. We strive to create solutions that expand the knowledge base of instrumentation and to create solutions that can be used in diverse fields ranging from medical device and health care to national defense and aerospace.
At CIM, we also focus on the synthesis of new materials for use in applications ranging from medical and healthcare industries to aerospace and instrumentation based on optical, electrical, mechanical, and chemical principles. We strive to achieve cost-effectiveness in our products and services while maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.
Our materials scientists, engineers, and technicians collaborate on the development of advanced materials and instrumentation technologies based on an in-depth understanding of the material characteristics, as well as the methods and techniques necessary for the production and use of these materials.
CIM also participates in a variety of research activities, primarily in the development of advanced materials and instrumentation technologies for medical and healthcare applications. Some of the activities that we have participated in include the study of advanced optical sensing techniques for medical diagnostics, the development of new cryogenic systems for medical imaging, and the development of advanced materials for medical applications.
CIM is also involved in the development of instrumentation based on low-temperature plasma technologies, a field that is becoming increasingly important for many medical and healthcare applications. We are currently working on the development of a range of instruments and systems based on this technology, including systems for diagnostics and therapies.
At CIM, we strive to push the boundaries of technology in order to promote innovation and create solutions that will improve the quality of life for our customers. We believe that all parts of society, including institutions, businesses, and individuals, should benefit from advances in instrumentation materials and technologies, which are essential to economic productivity, environmental sustainability, and high standards of healthcare. We look forward to continuing to contribute to the advancement of instrumentation materials and technologies.
