The production of rebars containing Mn steel is a relatively new development in steel industry. This article will discuss how rebars containing Mn steel are produced.

First, the raw material is melted and refined through an electric arc furnace to obtain a homogeneous Mn steel. Then, the liquid product is cast in a steel die, cooled, and then rolled into wire rod having a diameter as small as 8mm. Following this, the Mn steel wire rod undergoes hot rolling operations to produce the required shape and size.
