Recently, I have been struggling to stay active and motivated. Working from home this past year due to the pandemic has made it difficult for me to stay productive, as I have a tendency to become easily distracted and unmotivated. To help combat this feeling, I decided to find activities and tasks that would help keep me active and boost my motivation.

The first activity I tried was yoga. Yoga helps to center and empower oneself, so it was the perfect activity to jumpstart my motivation. During my yoga practice, I focus on the movements and how they are helping my body and my mind connect. This connection is incredibly motivating and it has encouraged me to experiment with different poses and styles.

The second activity I committed to was exercising regularly. Going for a run, a few days a week, helps me to stay focused and motivated. Running helps clear my mind, as I can take the time to reflect on my goals and progress. Running also gives me a sense of accomplishment, as I am pushing myself to increase my stamina and strength.

Another activity that I have found to be good for motivation are organizing and tidying up my home. I have discovered this helps me de-clutter my mind, and clear the space of any distractions which can keep me from staying active and motivated.

Finally, I have managed to keep my motivation up by journaling and reading. Writing and reading help me to stay focus, as I am able to reflect on the things I am learning and analyze the progress I am making. Reading also helps me to stay up to date with current events, which is an invaluable source of motivation for me.

To help combat low motivation, I have been engaging in activities such as yoga, running, tidying up, and reading, which have all been beneficial. By committing myself to these activities, I have been finding it easier to stay motivated and active.
