High-quality steel can be divided into carbon structural steel, carbon tool steel, alloy structural steel, alloy tool steel, spring steel chrome vanadium structural steel, chrome vanadium tool steel, bearing steel, stainless acid-resistant steel and heat-resistant steel. Carbon steel has excellent hot workability, cold workability and weldability, and it is often used in structural components and parts. Carbon steel has low base price, good machinability, low welding cost and easy welding process maintenance.
Alloy structural steel is a kind of steel with a higher alloy content than carbon structural steel or carbon tool steel, which has better mechanical properties, steel components and performance, better hardenability and hot workability, and higher corrosion resistance than carbon steel. Alloy tool steel is normally used in the production of cutting tools, molds and measuring tools. It has high hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance, combined with a reasonable price and good machinability. Spring steel has good elasticity and plasticity, and is used to manufacture motors, machines, cars and other general parts and components. Chrome vanadium structural steel has good cold workability and wear resistance, as well as a reasonable price. Chrome vanadium tool steel has excellent cold workability, wear resistance and heat resistance, so it can be applied to the production of complexly-shaped components. Bearing steel is used to make ferrule, connecting rod and other components of automobiles, tractors and other machines, and has high wear resistance, load carrying capacity and impact resistance, as well as excellent dimensional stability under high temperature.
Stainless acid-resistant steel has low carbon content and high chromium content, as well as high strength, plasticity and weldability. It can be used to make parts that require high moisture resistance, wear resistance and acid and alkali resistance, and it is also the most suitable material for low-temperature and nuclear engineering. Heat-resistant steel has high corrosion resistance and strength at high temperatures, so it can be used in manufacturing parts and components of creating that operate in high-temperature environments.
