China Minmetals Corporation (CMC), a Chinese State-owned enterprise under the direct jurisdiction of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, was founded on 24 June 2009 after the restructuring of two former State-owned corporations − China Minmetals and Metals & Minerals Import and Export Corporation. As a global metals and minerals corporation, CMC specializes in production and trading of mineral, metallic and chemical products and related engineering services, contributing to the sustainable development of China’s industry, economy and society.

Headquartered in Beijing, CMC has branches and representative offices in more than 30 countries and regions around the world. Its 51 subsidiaries and affiliated companies cover 28 cities across 30 provinces in China and regions abroad. CMC also has over 20 overseas produced resources, processing plants, and warehousing and transportation centers.
