1、Size and shape of sliding gate castable brick
When using sliding gate castable brick, the size and shape should meet the requirements of the secret drawing standard. According to the size of the template, the size of the sliding gate castable brick should be determined. Generally, the length of the sliding gate castable brick is 800 mm ~ 1000 mm, the width is 200 mm ~ 300 mm, and the thickness is 50 mm ~ 60 mm.
In terms of shape, the correct size and shape that meet the requirements are basically the same as the size and shape of the steel barrel. Generally speaking, the size of the sliding gate castable brick should be subjected to the required diameters and radian tolerances, and is generally within the range of ± 0.5mm. The radial surface of the sliding gate castable brick should also be within the range of ± 0.2mm.

Generally speaking, the total weight of the sliding gate castable brick should be between 1000 kg and 3000 kg. 3、Surface quality of sliding gate castable brick

Generally speaking, the surface of the sliding gate castable brick should be within the range of ± 0.2mm, and the surface roughness should not exceed Ra1.6μm.
4、Inspection of sliding gate castable brick
When produced, the quality of the sliding gate castable brick should also be strictly inspected. First of all, the sliding gate castable brick should pass the test of template measurement and static weight to verify the size and weight of the sliding gate castable brick. If a sliding gate castable brick with an excessive weight or a different shape and size is found, it must be replaced in time.
At the same time, the two ends of the sliding gate castable brick should also do some grinding. Before and after grinding, the width should not exceed the design range standard and should not be greater than 5mm. Only the width range and surface roughness are qualified can the sliding gate castable brick be accepted. After all the tests and inspections, it will be put into the furnace to form one castable cylinder.
According to the actual situation of steel barrels, the sliding gate castable brick should also have certain anti- corrosion measures to keep the castables from being eroded by high temperature and corrosive materials. Generally speaking, the corrosion degree of the sliding gate castable brick shall not exceed 240h.
