1 Introduction
Coal gas recovery and automatic control have great significance for the production and stable operation of ammonia sulfurization equipment. Coal gas collection and automatic control can accurately detect the running state of sulfurization reactions, and provide quantitative data for the production staff to adjust the processes, so as to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the sulfurization process.
The current coal gas collection and automatic control mainly consists of a coal gas flowmeter, an EME SO2 analyzer, and a control system composed of a temperature controller, a PLC control panel, a temperature transmitter and a pressure transmitter. Coal gas flow meters are used to measure the coal gas flow rate, and the emissions of carbon dioxide, SO2 and nitrogen oxides are measured by the analyzers. The temperature and pressure in the sulfurization reactor are detected by temperature transmitter and pressure transmitter, then the temperature and pressure data are transmitted to the PLC control panel for overall processing and control.
The current system has many limitations. First, it has low accuracy of coal gas collection, and is not suitable for complex industrial environment; second, the automatically controlled temperature and pressure are limited, and the response speed is slow; third, the system is affected by external interference, which may cause the system to malfunction.
To overcome the above limitations, a new coal gas recovery and automatic control system is proposed. This system relies on the accuracy of flow measurement and precise pressure and temperature control, which can quickly and accurately collect and control coal gas in complex industrial environments.
2 System Architecture
The coal gas recovery and automatic control system consists of a pressure-operated flowmeter, an EME analyzer, a temperature controller, a PLC control panel, a temperature transmitter and a pressure transmitter. Figure 1 is a schematic of the system.
The pressure-operated flowmeter is used to measure the coal gas flow rate and the EME analyzer measures the emissions of CO2, SO2 and NOx. The temperature and pressure in the sulfurization reactor are detected by the temperature transmitter and the pressure transmitter and the data is transmitted to the PLC control panel for overall processing and control. The temperature controller then sends an appropriate control signal to the actuator and adjusts the temperature and pressure according to the users requirements.
3 System performance
3.1 Accuracy
The pressure-operated flowmeter has high accuracy in measuring the gas flow rate, and can measure the gas flow rate accurately. The maximum error of the flow rate measurement is 1.5%, and the repeatability is 0.15%. The EME analyzer has a detection accuracy of 0.1 ppm and can accurately measure the CO2, SO2, and NOx emissions.
3.2 Anti-interference
This system has strong anti-interference ability. The pressure-operated flowmeter is shock-proof and the EME analyzer has a built-in filter to filter out the interference caused by the high and low frequency. In addition, the PLC control panel is equipped with EMI protection and surge protection to protect the system from lightning strikes.
3.3 Easy to Use
This system is easy to use. The pressure-operated flowmeter is equipped with a digital display that can show the flow rate, and the user can easily modify the parameters of the system through the digital control panel.
4 Conclusion
This article introduces a new coal gas recovery and automatic control system for ammonia sulfurization equipment. The system is composed of a pressure-operated flowmeter, an EME analyzer, a temperature controller, a PLC control panel, a temperature transmitter and a pressure transmitter. This system has the characteristics of high accuracy and strong anti-interference capability, and is easy to use and can be widely used in a variety of complex industrial environments.
