Operation Procedure of Mechanical Pressure Machine (Friction Clutch Type)
1. Preparation before Test
1.1 Check the equipment configuration and operation environment, mainly include:
(1) Test pressure value is correct.
(2) The capacity of pressure machine and test piece meet the requirements.
(3) Pressure gauge, transducer, computer interface and printer are correct configured and work properly.
(4) All safety protection devices are in good condition.
(5) Test area with good ventilation.
(6) The environment of the test room is good, without heat source and objects blocking range is small.
1.2 Check the test piece and test fixture, mainly include:
(1)Appearance and integrity of the test piece is good.
(2) The size of the test fixture is good.
(3) Clean the dust on the surface of test piece and test fixture.
(4) Place the test piece in the test fixture.
2. Setting and start the test
2.1 Input the test parameters.
(1)Select “pressure test” mode.
(2)Set the pressure value and maximum stress rate, such as the steel pipe test pressure of 3Mpa and rate of 150Mpa/s.
(3)Start the device.
2.2 Start the test
(1) Align the test piece with the pressure port of the device.
(2) The software will move out the piston automatically.
(3) Press the “start” bottom then the machine start to pressurize the test piece. It will apply the pressure automatically and correct pressure value.
(4) During the test process the pressure machine will record the process of pressure increase, pressure holding and pressure decrease automatically.
(5) After the test, the software will automatically save the test report.
2.3 Stop the test
(1) After the test completed or test failed, press the “stop” bottom to end the test process.
(2) If the test succeed,print the report and record the test piece number, test pressure value and test conclusions.
3.Inspection after Test
(1)Examine whether the parts in contact with the pressure is damaged.
(2)Check the pressure meter and temperature meter are in normal value range.
(3)Flush the test piece and test fixture with water, prevent rusting.
(4)Measure the pressure data and test report, check the test result is in allowed range.
4.Precaution
(1) Before the test start, ensure all the parameter and configuration has been set correctly.
(2) Don’t touch the test piece or test fixtures (contact part with pressure) while the test running.
(3)Before the start test, observe the pressure gauge at full scale.
(4) Non-professional personnel is prohibited to produce the test.
(5) Regularly maintain the friction clutch pressure machine, checking and replacing component parts on a certain basis.
