Southwest Aluminum Processing Plant
The Southwest Aluminum Processing Plant is a leading producer of aluminum products in the southwest region. The plant is owned and operated by XYZ Industries and is located in a remote region, with access to plentiful and reliable sources of raw materials. The plant has a workforce of over 1,000 employees and produces over 1 million metric tons of aluminum annually.
The plant first came to life in the early 1990s as an integrated aluminum manufacturing facility with the capacity to smelt, extrude, fabricate, package and distribute aluminum products to a vast number of industries such as automotive, transportation, telecom, construction and defense. As a result, the plant provides a range of products and services, ranging from cast and wrought aluminum, to heavy plate aluminum and specialty aluminum alloys.
The plant itself is a complex and a highly sophisticated facility, with the capacity to process a wide range of aluminum grades and shapes and sizes, as well as various alloys.
