Zhangzhou Yongjin Industry Association
The Zhangzhou Yongjin Industry Association (YIA) was established in 2001 and is dedicated to the development of the metal processing and manufacturing industry in the Zhangzhou area. The association, comprised of small and medium-sized enterprises all within the Zhangzhou area, represents the voice of the metal processing industry and serves as an effective platform for exchange and sharing of industry knowledge and resources.
YIAs mission is to work actively to promote the growth and success of the metal processing industry in and around Zhangzhou. To do this, YIA works closely with the local government and other industry organizations to develop both short and long-term objectives for co-development. Educational initiatives such as student internships and vocational training programs have been established in partnership with the the Department of Education, becoming the avenue through which YIA provides resources and guidance to accelerate and support partnering enterprises success.
YIA is committed to providing public service during the pandemic of 2020. To assist the enterprises cope with the epidemic situation, YIA has negotiated with two leading insurance companies of the city to launch a low-cost insurance policy exclusively for Zhangzhou’s metal processing industries. This insurance will compensate enterprises for financial losses due to the disruption caused by the epidemic, thus reducing their financial burden and helping them to return to operations safely once the pandemic is over. In addition, YIA has also provided online courses and online platforms to allow enterprises to keep up with industry news and trends with the most accurate and up to date information.
YIA prides itself on taking the initiative in driving forward innovative industry practices and technology advancements within the metal processing industry. Such forward thinking has enabled the organization to build strong professional relationships with leading manufacturers and industry bodies who, under YIAs stewardship, have shared their best practices and approaches to ensure businesses remain at the forefront of the industry.
The Association has proven to be an important contributor to sustainable growth in the industry. Revenue and output have been rising steadily since YIA was founded.
