HG/T 2863-1997 Argon gas for lamp bulbs

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and product signs of argon gas for lamp bulbs.

This standard applies to argon gas for lamp bulbs (hereinafter referred to as gas).

This standardom does not apply to secondary gas.

2 Technical Requirements

2.1 Quality Characteristics

The quality characteristics of the gas shall meet the requirements of Table 1.

Table 1 Quality Requirements

Index name Index value

Oxygen concentration, mass fraction (%) ≤0.0015

Water vapor concentration, mass fraction (%) ≤ 0.001

Non-condensable gas mass fraction (%) ≤ 0.05

Carbon dioxide mass fraction (%) ≤ 0.003

Residual chlorine mass fraction (%) ≤ 0.0005

2.2 Appearance

The gas shall be colorless and odorless.

3 Test Methods

3.1 Oxygen concentration, water vapor concentration and non-condensable gas mass fraction test

This test uses the method specified in HG/T 4810-1992.

3.2 Carbon dioxide mass fraction test

This test uses the method specified in GB/T 13480-92.

3.3 Residual chlorine mass fraction test

This test uses the method specified in GB/T 13481-92.

4 Inspection Rules

4.1 Inspection Items

The inspection items of the gas shall meet the requirements of Table 2.

Table 2 Quality Requirements

Index name Inspection items

Oxygen concentration, mass fraction (%) single batch

Water vapor concentration, mass fraction (%) each batch

Non-condensable gas mass fraction (%) each batch

Carbon dioxide mass fraction (%) each batch

Residual chlorine mass fraction (%) each batch

4.2 Inspections

Inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of HG/T 2062-1992.

4.3 Test Methods

Inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the rules for test methods in Article 3 of this standard.

4.4 Re-inspection

If the inspection results of a product do not meet the requirements of this standard, a re-inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of HG/T 2063-1992.

5 Sign of Products

The gas shall be packed in a cylinder of appropriate capacity, and the product sign shall meet the requirements of Table 3 and markings shall be easy for consumers to understand. Table 3 Product Sign Requirements
