Tendering Notice

The Ministry of Construction and Environment (MCE) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting tenders for construction and environmental projects.

The projects include:

-Building of dams

-Construction of residential areas, offices, and industrial sites

-Restoration of wetlands and natural areas

-Rehabilitation of degraded terrain

-Restoration of habitats

-Creation of air and water purification systems

-Installation of solar energy facilities

-Installation of wastewater treatment plants, recycling services, and other environmental technologies

The successful bidder will have the responsibility to provide all necessary construction and environment related services and materials, including costs for supervision and construction management.

The tender must include the following documents:

-Project scope and proposed budget

-Detail of available resources

-Plan for implementation, monitoring and potential risks

-Proof of relevant experience and recommendation letters

-Proof of valid license

-Proof of liability insurance

The MCE offers a competitive fee structure, with the successful bidder having the capability to build a lasting relationship with the ministry.

The ministry aims to select a bidder that can provide exemplary services, high quality materials, and show a commitment to sustainability.

The deadline for submission is August 31st, 2020. Late submission shall not be accepted.

public Bidding Notice

We hereby invite bids for the refurbishment of the municipal offices building. The project involves interior decoration and fitting of air conditioning units.

Bidders are to provide proof of registration of a construction license by the local authority as a minimum requirement for participation.

Bids are to be completed in English and include the following items:

1. A project quotation

2. An itemized list of services and materials provided

3. A timeline for completion of the project

4. Written warranties on all materials and services provided

Bid packages should be submitted to the bid committee in a sealed envelope marked “Refurbishment of Municipal Building” by the deadline of 2 p.m. on June 22.

The successful bidder will be awarded the project and a contract agreement will be entered into once the bid has been accepted.

The successful bidder will be expected to provide proof of adequate insurance coverage prior to commencement of the project.
