Welding fluxes are materials used to improve the quality of welding. This paper is aimed to introduce the brand representation method of domestic sintered welding fluxes.
Generally, domestic sintered welding fluxes have a unified nomenclature system. The brand name is indicated by the Chinese Pinyin spelling of the flux series and the number of product form. The first letter of the flux series expresses the welding process of carbon steel, serial number or English abbreviation. The last two numbers represent the product form of the flux, indicating the grain size and absorption rate of the flux.
For example, the brand name of Tianjin Fanglian sintered flux AA408 is read as Aa4-O-8. The first letter Aa represents the welding process of carbon steel and the letter A. The last two digits 08 represent the product type number of the flux, indicating the flux grain size and absorption rate category. The numbers 4 and 8 in 4-O-8 represent 4 and 8 respectively. The number 4 represents the grain size of the flux, indicating that the grain size is between 0.4 and 1.4mm. The number 8 represents the flux absorption rate, indicating that the absorption rate of the flux is between 7% and 17%.
For each product, not only the brand name, but also the basic performance indicators, such as the chemical composition, particle size, apparent density, arc stability and wear resistance, are specified. These data are essential to provide reference information for the selection, application and evaluation of flux specifications.
In addition, the brand representation of domestic sintered welding fluxes should be integrated with the corresponding product management system. This ensures that the quality of each type of sintered flux meets the national standards and requirements.
In conclusion, this paper provided an introduction to the brand representation method of domestic sintered welding fluxes, which helps people understand and make better use of the fluxes. And accurate and scientific brand representation is the basis for good product management.
