The certification is a confirmatory document issued after the manufacturer meets all the established safety and performance requirements and proves that all regulatory requirements have been met.

The certification is usually issued by the manufacturer, with their name and brand. It has their contact information, such as address, telephone number and website, as well as the information of the process and equipment certified.

To ensure product quality, the manufacturers certification should be traceable and reliable.

Acceptance is the process of assessing whether the process and equipment met all the requirements.

Acceptance activities shall include, but not be limited to,

(1) Confirmation that specification requirements have been complied with;

(2) Examination of appearance, size, and weight;

(7) Examination of compliance of the process and equipment to the scope of the quote;

(8) Record of actual performance condition; and

(9) Closeout and transition of the process and equipment.

Acceptance shall also include verification that warranty requirements are in place and follow-up service contracts for corrective and preventive maintenance have been verified.
